# Ditto

> Ditto is a meeting recorder for iPhone and iPad (iOS 26.2 or later). It records or imports a meeting and writes a transcript with speaker labels, a summary, key points and action items. Transcription, speaker detection, notes and search run on the device.

- Live transcript while recording, also with the screen locked. Imports voice memos, call recordings and video files.
- Speakers: each speaker gets a label; name someone once and Ditto recognizes their voice in later meetings (voice profiles stay on the device).
- Notes: summary, key points and action items, with templates for 1:1s, standups, interviews and lectures.
- Ask your meetings: questions answered from what was said, with links to the moment.
- Export: Markdown mirrored into a folder such as an Obsidian vault, Word, PDF, text, SRT, VTT.
- Languages: Apple's speech recognition (many languages), plus a larger on-device model for 25 European languages.
- Measured on an iPhone 13: an hour-long meeting (59 min) transcribed with speakers in 53 s with High accuracy, 76 s with the defaults; first words after 3 s.
- Privacy: no accounts, ads or tracking. Recordings are not uploaded unless the user picks a cloud feature.
- Pricing: recording is always free and the first 2 hours of transcription are free. Ditto Pro removes the limit and adds notes and Ask on any iPhone; Pro + Cloud adds 1,000 cloud transcription minutes a month.
